A PRESCHOOL that received an unannounced inspection has been praised by the education watchdog
Happy Mindz Day Nursery and Preschool was the recent subject of an unannounced Ofsted inspection.
Based in Fareham Road, Wickham, it offers childcare and preschool education to local families, doctors, solicitors and armed forces families.
The report released this week has seen the nursery deemed "good" overall.
Husband and wife Claire and Shane Jarman have owned and run the site since October 2016, remaining open during the lockdowns.
During the inspection on February 14, it was found that children "how high levels of motivation in their play and are valued by attentive staff.”
The report praised the leadership of the setting led by manager Shane, describing them as a "dedicated management team with a clear vision for the nursery and working tirelessly to maintain the good standards of care".
Inspectors found that staff know all children extremely well and they understand how children learn and develop.
Praise was also given by parents with the report stating: "Parents are very complimentary about the nursery. They value the support the staff offer them and their children.“
Claire and Shane said they are "delighted that the hard work and dedication by all has yet again been recognised".
