A SOUTHAMPTON woman has been fined for facilitating a gathering during strict Covid restrictions.
Police had received a report that several people were inside a flat at Southbrook Rise, Millbrook, on January 29 2021.
The city was under Tier 4 regulations, which prevented any kind of household mixing.
But three males under the age of 18, who did not live at the address, were found on the sofa by police officer Wendy Rogers.
The main occupant of the flat was found to be Anne Marie Davidson.

A lone magistrate at a hearing behind closed doors found the 52-year-old to be guilty of breaking Covid rules – a criminal offence.
“I asked why everyone was gathering and pointed out this was not allowed currently due to the national lockdown," said a statement by Ms Rogers.
"None of the persons present replied with any concern or acknowledgement of what I had said.
“I established the main tenant of the address was Davidson and reported her for breaching Covid regulations, the flat is hers and as such I believed she was facilitating this gathering. I cautioned her with the now caution and she had no reply.
“The three males were also reported and as such letters will be sent to their parents as they are under eighteen years old.”
Ms Rogers had a body-worn camera activated throughout the encounter and the footage was submitted to the court.
Davidson was fined £320 and must pay a victim surcharge of £34 alongside £85 in court costs.
