A CYCLIST has been seriously injured after a crash with a car on the Itchen Bridge.
Emergency services were called to the Southampton bridge just after 10 pm last night.
The bridge was closed at its junction with Central Bridge heading inbound and a diversion via Saltmarsh Road was set up.

The crash involved a bicycle and a car.
Police said the cyclist suffered a "serious knee injury".
He was taken to hospital.
The bridge reopened shortly after 11 pm.
