A MAN has been charged in connection with a child sexual offence after travelling to Southampton.
Michael Landymore from Croydon was arrested by specialist officers yesterday (Thursday April 21) as part of an operation.
The 74-year-old had travelled to the city and was later charged with arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sexual offence.

South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) confirmed that no children were at risk as part of this operation.
Landymore was remanded in police custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (April 22) where he was further remanded to appear at Southampton Crown Court on May 20.
