If you are hoping to grab a McDonald's after work tonight, there is one you should avoid.

The fast food restaurant in Millbrook will be closed from 9pm tonight (Tuesday) for general maintenance work.

The restaurant on Green Park Road will reopen tomorrow morning but will shut again in the evening for works to be completed.

Last night, the site was also closed, prompting speculation on social media as to what was going on.

Posting in a Facebook group, a resident said tiles were being replaced.

McDonald's did not confirm what work is taking place.
