A STALKER has been banned from Southampton's biggest hospital.

Charles Bainbridge appeared in court after he stalked a Southampton woman for months.

The court heard how the 51-year-old stalked his victim between December 30, 2020, and July 24, 2021, by repeatedly attending her home and her parents' address.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to stalking.

Bainbridge, of Corvette Avenue, Warsash, was handed a restraining order banning him from contacting his victim or her parents directly or indirectly.

He was also banned from attending either address, and was banned from entering Southampton General Hospital unless he had a pre-arranged appointment or in the event of an emergency.

Bainbridge was fined £200 and was also ordered to carry out 225 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £400.
