A MAJOR Hampshire road was closed this morning due to a collision between two lorries.
The incident happened on the A34 near Winchester at 4.20am today, Friday, April 29.
The road was closed southbound, from the B3420 to junction 9 of the M3, causing traffic delays.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were on the scene.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and diversions are in place.
Romanse traffic servcie said: "#A34 Southbound - Carriageway CLOSED between #A303 #UpperBullington and A33 Basingstoke Rd #KingsWorthy due to RTI, diversion in place."
Traffic information service Inrix said: "A34 Southbound closed, queueing traffic due to multi-vehicle accident from B3420 to M3 J9 (Winnal roundabout / Winchester North)."
