A DOG walker has been given a shock after a naked man appeared from behind trees in the New Forest.
The 57-year-old woman said the "odd" man appeared a short walk away from Ashurst Campsite on Thursday at around 11.30am.
He stared at the woman, who was walking three dogs, but did not leave her feeling threatened.
The woman, who the Echo is not naming, said she attempted to report this to the police but could not get through on 101 - and 999 call handlers told her to call back to 101.

She said: "He was just coming out of the trees - he was stood there completely utterly naked.
"He started looking at me - why would he stand there looking at me? It was just odd.
"He just stood there staring at me and walking up and back.
"I didn't feel threatened because I was enough away to walk away and run off to phone 999."
The dog walker said the man had a small goatee beard.
