MOTORISTS have been warned to plan ahead as large numbers of cruise passengers are expected in Southampton this weekend.
Southampton City Council's highways team posted the warning on social media as several cruise ships are scheduled to dock in the city today and tomorrow.
In a tweet, the council said: "Please plan any journeys to the waterfront in advance as it will be busy."
Ships are due to be arriving and departing over the weekend.
High volumes of cruise passengers are expected in the city this weekend with several cruise ships arriving/departing both today and tomorrow.
