A VAN driver with a 5.4t load has been stopped by police.
Hampshire Roads Policing Unit stopped a van in Fareham today.
The van was found to be carrying a 5400kg load - exceeding the permitted limit of 3,500kg.

The driver was handed a £300 fine.
A spokesperson from the Force said: "Stopped this van in Fareham, close to a weighbridge. At 5400kgs, it's more than the 3.5t is permitted.
"If you're not sure, this isn't acceptable. £300 fine and parked up to be re-examined."
