POLICE seized a moped that was seen crawling along a Hampshire motorway at just 20mph.
Officers responded after receiving "multiple" calls about the moped, which was first spotted on the M27 near Southampton.
It was subsequently located on the M3.
As well as using a prohibited vehicle on a motorway the rider was found to have committed a raft of other offences.
Police say the offender had no tax, no insurance and no L plates.
The rider, who was carrying a pillion passenger, has been reported. The bike was seized.
