THE QUEEN’S Platinum Jubilee is just around the corner and thousands of people are preparing to host a street party.
Bunting will be strewn across gardens and Victoria Sponges eaten by the masses to celebrate the 70 years Her Majesty has spent on the throne.
As of last month, Southampton City Council received 26 successful applications for closures ahead of the weekend.
Now, there are a total of 60 road closures spread over the four-day weekend, from June 2 to June 5.
