A DINOSAUR themed restaurant has opened its doors in a Hampshire shopping village.
Jurassic Grill enjoyed a wild first weekend in Whiteley.
Customers can try a selection of ‘Prehistoric Pizzas’ and the new ‘Palaeontologist Pancakes’ menu, featuring Cadbury Caramel Egg pancakes as well as classic choices such as maple syrup and bacon and banana and Biscoff.

Visitors since Saturday’s launch have been treated to a range of dishes including the towering ‘Titanosaurus’ triple cheeseburger, ‘Bone Yard’ BBQ ribs and ‘Volcano Wings’.
The highly anticipated new restaurant is the third Jurassic Grill in the UK with other outlets at Kettering and Rushden Lakes, both in Northamptonshire.
More than 30 jobs have been created as a result of the Whiteley launch.
Adventurers can explore the wonders of a prehistoric rainforest, and come face to face with their favourite carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores.
Mia Gordon, centre director at Whiteley, said: “We’re always looking to bring new and exciting brands to Whiteley, and Jurassic Grill is exactly that, offering our visitors the ultimate dining experience - particularly those who are dinosaur fans!
“We’ve had a lot of interest in the run up to the opening, and I’m sure it’ll be a huge success!”
Joshua Parr, operations expansion manager at Jurassic Grill, added: “We’re thrilled to be opening our third branch at Whiteley, surrounded by some of the best retail and restaurant brands out there.
“Our explorers can’t wait to welcome everyone to the latest Jurassic Grill location, full-to-the-brim with all the primordial wonders you can feast your eyes on!”
Jurassic Grill is located between Nando’s and Dim T.
It is open from 11am to 9pm daily, with the latest tables available at 7.30pm.
A small number of walk-in tables are available, but booking is highly recommended at jurassicgrill.co.uk/book
Whiteley boasts 70 stores including high street brands like M&S, Boots and Next.
Restaurants include Nando’s, Five Guys, Dim T and Wildwood Kitchen.
Rock Up, an indoor climbing centre with soft play, also features.
