THE LEADER of the council is calling on Boris Johnson to resign following the release of Sue Gray's report.
Ms Gray, a senior civil servant, revealed a slew of lockdown-busting parties at Downing Street, including the PM’s birthday in 2020.
Her report details how, at a time when people couldn't see their loved ones, officials at Number 10 drank so much they were sick, sang karaoke, became involved in altercations and abused security and cleaning staff.
The prime minister said he took “full responsibility” for the breaches but played down his personal involvement in the gatherings.
He is insisting the country “moves on.”

“It told us everything we already knew and every Tory denied.

We did.
It told us everything we already knew and every Tory denied.
Can Boris Johnson resign now please.
“Can Boris Johnson resign now please.”
Other political figures have also called for Mr Johnson’s resignation.
Alan Whitehead, Labour MP for Southampton Test, accused Mr Johnson of treating the sacrifices of the British people with contempt and again urged him to resign.
Meanwhile, Julian Lewis, Conservative member for New Forest East, said: “This indefensible behaviour at the heart of government was utterly unnecessary.”
