A HUNT has been launched following an attempted knifepoint robbery today.
Police are searching for a teenage boy believed to be between 15 and 16 years old.
Officers want to speak to him after a 12-year-old pupil at Redbridge Community School was threatened with a penknife.
Police say the masked assailant later followed a black Renault Clio, which was in the area, onto the school grounds.
He damaged the rear of the vehicle while the driver and her children were inside the car.
Riding a yellow or lime green pushbike, he then fled the scene.
