A RESCUE helicopter was seen flying over a Southampton park last night.
The coastguard helicopter was spotted over Mayflower Park at around 8.30pm on Friday, May 27.
Witnesses saw the helicopter flying over the grounds and described a number of ambulances and police cars in the area that evening.
The helicopter left the area just before 9pm.
Other witnesses have reported that the helicopter returned to the park at around 12.50am this morning.
It is currently not known why the emergency services were in the area.
The Daily Echo has contacted Hampshire Constabulary for further information.
