A police operation is underway in Southampton city centre tonight.
Officers have set up a cordon behind Hanover Buildings.
Two police cars and a police van are on the scene near Queensway roundabout.
UPDATE: Cordon cleared after police incident near Hanover Buildings
An air ambulance was spotted lifting off from Hoglands Park at around 6.30pm.
Hanover Buildings was temporarily closed but has since reopened.
Police remain at the scene.
