FIRE crews rushed to Fawley refinery after plumes of smoke were seen billowing from the site.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to assist onsite teams with a fire at the ExxonMobil site shortly after midday.

Crews from Hardley, Beaulieu, Redbridge, St Mary's, Hythe, Lyndhurst, and Romsey attended the scene.
The fire service say the incident was "quickly brought under control", with a number of crews already returning to their stations.
According to ExxonMobil, the fire has been "safely contained."
A spokesperson said: "We have experienced an isolated fire on one of our units that our on-site emergency teams, with assistance from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, moved quickly to address.
"The incident has now been safely contained. There have been no injuries and all personnel are accounted for.
"Our operations are continuing."
