A HAMPSHIRE animal charity is desperately trying to find a rescue dog his forever home after waiting two years.
Fluke, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, was adopted after being at St Francis Animal Welfare in Fair Oak for a year.
Sadly, Fluke was not successful in finding a permanent home and the now four-year-old pooch was returned to the shelter where he has remained for more than two years.
The charity has since launched a special appeal to find lovely Fluke a home.
A spokesperson said: “Fluke is such a loving dog and wants nothing more than a human to love and snuggle up to.

“Although he gets lots of love and attention at the rescue, he is wasting his life in kennels.
“The months keep ticking by and he's still overlooked.
“It would make us all so happy to see him settled in his own home."
Fluke is looking for a home where he can be the only dog in the house, ideally in a rural area.
He needs to find a loving owner that has no young children and can travel to meet him at the charity’s shelter.
Although Fluke is not good with other dogs, he is loving and affectionate with people and “has lots of love to give.”
The charity is willing to consider applications from different areas, providing potential owners can travel to the shelter.
