SCOUTS have been a major influence on thousands of Hampshire youngsters since the movement began in 1907.
Over the decades the scouts, founded by Robert Baden-Powell, have been involved in community activities, youth leadership and sports, as well as teaching fieldcraft and outdoor skills.
These photographs, taken through the decades, are part of the Daily Echo’s archive and illustrate activities undertaken by members of the organisation in the county.
