A REVAMPED community hub aimed at supporting people with their wellbeing has opened in Southampton.
Options Wellbeing Trust opened its new hub on Shirley Roado on June 30
The hub was declared open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Mayor of Southampton, Councillor Jacqui Rayment
It which will deliver workshops and one-to-one help on a number of life issues.
It aims to tackle anxiety, stress management, depression, bereavement, trauma, relationships and educational awareness groups on a range of topics including addictions, such as gambling, drinking, and gaming.

Wendy Lee, head of Wellbeing at Options Wellbeing Trust, said: “We are thrilled now to have officially opened our new hub and to have had the mayor here with us for our grand reveal and to show her around was wonderful too.
"We know how passionate she is about the health and wellbeing of city residents.
"We are now welcoming people who would like to book face-to-face sessions for help and support with their mental health or any other issues, such as stress, anxiety, depression, addiction and eating disorders, that they might be dealing with."

Options Wellbeing Trust is a long-established registered charity with more than 50 years’ experience in offering a range of professional and affordable therapeutic support, counselling, training and development services to people across Southampton, Hampshire and Dorset.

People can book a free, initial 20-minute consultation where a counsellor will work out how best to support the individual.
