POLICE closed the Itchen Bridge today after a concern for welfare report.
Officers shut off the key city route earlier this afternoon after concerns for a woman's welfare were reported.
The emergency call came in at around 4.30pm.
The roadblock has now been lifted and traffic is able to pass.
