A SOUTHAMPTON man has been locked up for sexually abusing a teenage girl.
Oliver Axton engaged in sexual activity with the youth in the Southampton area over a year.
Police were alerted to his crimes in April of last year.
The 22-year-old, of Cunningham Crescent, was charged with four counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15 and two counts of causing or inciting her to engage in sexual activity.
He pleaded guilty to all offences.
Appearing before Southampton Crown Court at the end of June, he was jailed for four years.
