The closures come as the Met Office issued a red alert for extreme heat for parts of England on Monday and Tuesday.
In Southampton, an amber alert is in place though temperatures are still expected to reach 32 degrees on Monday and 29 on Tuesday.
For the first time temperatures of 40°C have been forecast in the UK and the first ever Red warning for exceptional heat has been issued.
