THOUSANDS of people donned their running shoes to take part in Race for Life today.
The popular annual event by Cancer Research took part on Southampton Common and saw participants run 3k, 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy and Pretty Muddy Kids to raise money for life-saving cancer treatment.

Over £212,000 has been raised today alone which will enable scientists to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer -helping to save more lives.
