HUNDREDS of runners waded and ran through mud as Cancer Research's Race for Life messy obstacle course returned with a bang to the city.
Competitors dressed in pink gathered at Southampton Common on Saturday, July 23, before setting off through the course after midday.

The children's version of the Pretty Muddy race went first and were soon followed by Pretty Muddy 5k participants
The races required participants to army crawl through mud and included a huge inflatable slide at the end.
The full-day event by Cancer Research raised over £212,000 which will fund crucial research to help beat cancer.
