A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital in a serious condition following an assault in Southampton.
Police officers and forensics are at the scene of the serious assault in Langhorn Road.
They were called out just after 12.20pm.
The road has been shut since then with a large cordon in place at both ends.

About a dozen police cars and vans are parked in the area.
Residents are being escorted to and from their homes.
Police didn't confirm the age of the victim but said he is "in his late teens".
A spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.21pm today (24 July) to Langhorn Road, Southampton, following reports a man in his late teens had been seriously assaulted.
"He was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
"A scene is in place in Langhorn Road and enquiries continue to establish the exact circumstances of what happened."
