POLICE seen forcing entry into a house earlier this week were carrying out enquiries into Sunday's alleged murder, it has been confirmed.
Officers entered a property in Blendworth Lane on Monday morning by "bashing the door open".
Concerned residents said officers first arrived in the Harefield area on Sunday.
A heavy police presence was reported on the day.
Some officers were wearing white suits and leaving with evidence bags, according to reports.
It is understood they remained at the scene guarding the house for a few days.
Police have now confirmed this was in connection with the alleged murder of a 19-year-old teenager on Langhorn Road.
Specialist officers carried out a warrant as part of their investigation, a police spokesperson said.
Six people have been arrested so far after a man was rushed to hospital in a serious condition.
He suffered a puncture wound to his lower back and abdomen and was later pronounced dead.
