A number of homes in Southampton city centre have been left without power tonight following an "unplanned outage".
A total of 38 SO15 postcodes covering the Bedford Place area, Freemantle and Southern Road are currently affected by the loss of supply.
According to Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks' (SSEN) live incident map, the outage in Bedford Place was reported at 4.45pm.
Power is expected to be restored by 8pm.
In Freemantle, the outage was first reported just after 4.35pm. Power is expected to return by 7.30pm.
An engineer is on site.
The power cut is also affecting traffic lights are various junctions in Southampton.
Some are stuck on red causing major delays across the city.
Households affected by the outage can call 105 for more information.
