THE following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
A 17-YEAR-OLD girl who cannot be named for legal reasons due to her age. Admitted two charges of assaulting an emergency worker by beating, assault by beating and criminal damage. Discharged conditionally for two years and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £17.
A 17-YEAR-OLD boy who cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age. Admitted one charge of driving without due care and attention in Ringwood, one charge of driving without a licence and one charge of driving without insurance.
PETER MCGRATH, 46, of Lyon Street, Southampton. Admitted one charge of using threatening and abusive language and behaviour. Community order issued ordering the offender to comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments for up to 25 days.
DANIEL FARTADE, 21, of Alma Road, Southampton. Admitted one charge of the possession of cocaine - a class A drug. Fined £500 and cocaine was seized and destroyed. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85.
KEVIN IBEWKA, 23, of Clovelly Road, Southampton. Admitted one charge of the possession of a false resident identity document and one charge of obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty. Committed to crown court for sentence on conditional bail. Next hearing in court on August 29 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
MARK GARDNER, 57, of Oberfield Road, Brockenhurst. Admitted one charge of harassment by sending numerous emails and making unwanted contact with his victim. Remanded on unconditional bail until the next court hearing on September 7 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
MIROSLAW ZAREBA, 61, of Shirley Road, Southampton. Admitted two charges of assaulting an emergency worker by beating and one charge of using racially aggravated and insulting words to cause alarm and distress. Remanded on unconditional bail until the next hearing on September 7 or a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
LEONARD WRIGHT, 21, of Piddlehinton Caravan Park, Dorchester. Admitted one charge of theft from Tesco Express in Calmore. Discharged conditionally for 24 months and ordered to pay compensation of £24. Fined £300 and disqualified from driving for 28 days. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £50.
