YOUR health doesn’t take a holiday so here are all the pharmacies that will be open over the August bank holiday.
The NHS has confirmed five city pharmacies will be open across the long weekend, which runs from August 27 to 29.
Dr Derek Sandeman, chief medical officer for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System, said: “Pharmacies, as well as being an invaluable high street resource, offer expert advice about over-the-counter medicines to treat common health conditions, as well as information on medication and a range of other services.

“Pharmacists are also trained to advise you if you need to see a GP, nurse or other healthcare professional.
“We would ask people who may need to order repeat prescriptions to please submit them in good time, and not leave them to the last minute with the bank holiday approaching.”
