SEWAGE has been pumped into the Solent following thunderstorms and heavy downpours.
Multiple points along the south coast have pollution warnings after discharges of human waste.
Sewage has been released at Stokes Bay in Gosport, Southsea, and Cowes and Gurnard on the Isle of Wight.
In Gosport, the outpouring was by the lifeboat station, and in Southsea the overflow was under the pier.
This is according to the Surfers Against Sewage live map, which tracks sewage overflows and pollution risks in real-time.
The spillages have occurred in the last 48 hours, the charity says.
Heavy rainfall interrupted days of high temperatures, causing flash floods in some areas, including Totton.

This came after a drought was declared in parts of Hampshire by the Environment Agency.
It was one of 14 areas in England that the agency moved to drought status as a result of extreme weather.
The dry weather also meant Southern Water announced a hosepipe ban for Hampshire.
Hosepipes can now only be used in a small number of situations due to low levels in the Test and Itchen rivers.
