A MAN is due in court after a brawl outside a pub that left a man with serious head injuries.
Thomas Lewis Kerby has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
The 27-year-old of Fort Road, Woolston, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Monday.

A large confrontation took place near the watering hole in South East Road, Sholing, between Thursday night and Friday morning.
Police say they received the report at around 12.15am on Friday morning.
It left a man in his 30s in hospital with "serious head injuries".
A 33-year-old Southampton man was also arrested for grievous bodily harm with intent but has been released under investigation.
