A MAN is due in court accused of riding a bicycle on a major Hampshire motorway.
Waldemar Coelho is alleged to have ridden a bike on the M3 near Southampton.
The 28-year-old has been charged with intentionally and without lawful authority or reasonable cause, riding on a road in such circumstances that it would have been obvious to a reasonable person that to do so would be dangerous.
The charge is in connection with an incident on May 14 this year.
Coelho of Dale Valley Road, Southampton, is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on the morning of Monday, August 22.
