A SOUTHAMPTON learning provider for hospitality apprentices has been praised by watchdogs.
Yuzu Training Limited (Yuzu) has been given an overall rating of 'good' in its most recent Ofsted inspection carried out on June 29.
The firm provides training for the hospitality sector at Burlington House in Portland Terrace and had 64 apprentices at the time of inspection.
Three out of five categories - quality of education, leadership and management, and apprenticeships - were rated good in the inspection, which was published on August 24.
Behaviours and attitudes, and personal development, were both rated outstanding.
Inspectors found that apprentices have "extremely positive attitudes" towards their learning.
They highlighted that apprentices are supported "extremely well" to develop confidence in their current roles.
Apprentices feel safe and have a good knowledge of how to keep themselves and others safe.
They demonstrate a good awareness of the importance of health and safety for themselves, their work colleagues and customers.
The report said: "Leaders have established a curriculum that is sharply focused on the hospitality sector.
"They recognise the changing landscape of that sector, considering both the local and national economic and skills requirements."
