MARRIED chefs are retiring after working together for 19 years at the same pub.
Vidsanu and Thanawan Rayab are leaving after running the kitchens at The Talisman pub in Park Gate.
The couple are planning to return to Thailand after nearly two decades of working side by side.
Vidsanu said: “The Talisman is a second home to us - we’ve enjoyed our time here from start to finish and everyone has been so kind and welcoming.”
“For the next people coming in to fill our shoes we would recommend comfy footwear, tea at the ready and to treat everyone with kindness.”

General Manager Harriet Chase said: “Vid and Thanawan will be hugely missed by the whole team at the Talisman. They’ve been such an important part of the team and are loved by so many here - it’ll be bittersweet to see them leave.
“We wish them all the best for their well-deserved retirement!”
Vidsanu, 62, had come to the UK and secured a home with the help of his general manager Dave Gelder at Hall & Woodhouse. This allowed for his 55-year-old wife and children to join them in Britain.
A pub statement added: "The pair have since become much-loved members of the team and the local community.
"They plan to return to Thailand to spend more time with their children and take care of Vidsanu’s mother during their retirement."
