IT'S the busy Hampshire salon celebrating 25 years in business.
Austen's Hair has a party planned to mark a quarter of a century of providing hair services to the people of Botley.
All are welcome to enjoy canapes, bubbly and goody bags at the 25th anniversary party on Thursday September 15 from 6pm to 8pm.

A charity raffle with prizes donated by local businesses will raise money for Mountbatten Hampshire hospice and Steps 2 Wellbeing mental health charity.
Austen's Hair, in High Street, was launched in September 1997 by owner and director Joe Austen.
She is pictured (centre) with salon manager Robyn Enock and senior stylist Rachel Hanley, as well as prepping the salon for its grand opening, below.
Manager Robyn told the Daily Echo: "The fact that we have been around for 25 years is a great accomplishment. Not many businesses can say they’ve been open for a quarter of a century!
"We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over these 25 years, we couldn’t have done it without you!"
The salon covers all aspects of hairdressing including women's, men's and children’s hair cuts and a variety of colouring techniques from an all over colour to highlights, lowlights and balayage. They do plenty of blow drying and styling hair including creating beautiful hair up styles for a special occasion, plus perming and setting.
"We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and obviously great hair services," added Robyn.
"We also think the brands we use should reflect the ethos of the business. So we try to use products and colours that contain ethically sourced ingredients, which are more than 90 per cent naturally derived. The products are cruelty free so no ingredient, formulation or the final product is ever tested on animals. They are also sulfate and paraben free, vegan, and with packaging made from 99 per cent recycled materials.
"We also serve Mozzo coffee which is very popular with our lovely clients.
"It’s a very friendly salon, everyone is made to feel comfortable and welcome whether they are a new client or have been coming for 20 years. All the staff are experienced hairdressers, highly trained and very knowledgeable about the products they are using, so they can offer advice for how to maintain their hair at home. With continual training they aim to keep up to date with the latest trends to cater for everyone. We aim to pamper you so you can enjoy the relaxing experience of having you hair done. With busy lives we all deserve a treat and coming to Austen’s we aim to help you achieve that.
Covid was a huge blow to Austen's Hair, like all small businesses, but it has bounced back thanks to clients realising the importance of supporting small local businesses.
