THUNDER and lightning is expected in Hampshire this afternoon and overnight, the Met Office warns.
There is a 60 per cent chance of rain within the hour in the New Forest.
It is expected to last until 2am tomorrow morning.

Thunder is expected soon, changing to cloudy in the afternoon, with thunder later tonight.
Many parts of southwest of England are covered by a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms.
"Torrential rain" is expected to cause disruption, including power cuts, flooding, damage to buildings, and cuts to public transport.
The Met Office said: "Whilst some places will see little or no rainfall, a few locations may see torrential rain with 20-30 mm falling in one hour and 50-80 mm in 3 hours.
"Additional hazards accompanying stronger thunderstorms include frequent lightning, hail and gusty winds, particularly during the evening period."

- Longer journey times as driving conditions will likely be affected by rain and winds
- Some flooding of a few homes and businesses likely
- Some damage to buildings
- Delays to some train services
- Some short term loss of power and other services.
