ARMED police have arrested a man who was said to be behaving "in an erratic manner" with a weapon in Southampton.
Officers were called to Coxford Roard, next to Southampton General at around 10.02am today.
It came after reports of a man behaving "in an erratic manner" and in possession of an offensive weapon.

Armed police descended on the scene and arrested a 22-year-old man from Southampton.
He has been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated assault, causing racially aggravated fear / provocation of violence and causing criminal damage.
The man remains in custody at this time.
