A BOY has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the forehead.
Police were called to a Hedge End address last night following reports of a serious assault.
A ten-year-old boy suffered a gash above his right eye after being stabbed.
It is alleged he was attacked by a 16-year-old boy during a fight shortly before 8pm on September 10.
The injured child was rushed to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the older boy, from Hedge End has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 – causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
According to police, he remains in custody at this time.
