UPDATE: The incident has now been cleared in both directions and delays are easing on all approaches.

A KEY route has been closed in both directions this morning after an incident.

The B3037 in Eastleigh has been shut both ways at Bishopstoke Road and Station Hill.

Police have since revealed that the blockage is due to a concern for welfare incident earlier this morning.

Network Rail reported a trespasser at the station this morning.
