AN OCEAN Village grandma has spoken out about vandalism and anti-social behaviour, saying she has been put off having her grandchildren to stay.
A garage door appears to have been kicked in and a glass door smashed in Alcantara Crescent, an otherwise-quiet block of flats.
Issues including noises in the night have been reported to police.
Angela Bamberg, who has lived in the Crescent for 18 years, said she is not having her grandchildren around.

She told the Echo: "They are six and eight years old. I'm not having them around.
"They aren't used to seeing things like this. We do not live in St Mary's, we live here."
The 70-year-old added: "The residents are professionals, grandmothers, people who have held down a job and want to go home to a peaceful environment.
"These people expect to influence the rest of us with what they are doing.
"It's the noise and all these people running around at night. I have a problem with people disturbing other people's peace of mind."
But she added that the block of flats has been "a nice place to live" for nearly two decades.
Hampshire police says it is "taking action" to address the issues.
A spokesperson said: "We are aware of issues at an address in Alcantara Crescent and are currently taking action to address them, including working with partners towards a long term solution for residents.
"We would encourage them to continue reporting incidents and information to us online or via 101 to support the work we are doing."
A notice on the door of Alcantara flats, from Alexandra Quay Management Company, reads: "Many complaints of suspicious and anti-social behaviour have been received in the last month around Alcantara Crescent.
"Can all residents be on the look out for any unusual behaviour (both outside, in communal areas and garages) and unknown people loitering around the estate.
"Please immediately report these incidents to the police by phone or on this link: https://hampshire.police.uk/ro/report
"Please report to Hampshire Police as AQMCL."
