A MAN seen walking near the water late at night prompted a police search by helicopter.
Officers were called at 9.07pm on Monday after a caller heard a man walking in the Centenary Quay area and was concerned for his welfare.
Emergency services attended the area to carry out a search.

Police officers were assisted in their search by HM Coastguard who sent a helicopter and rescue teams to the scene.
There were reports of a person in the water near the Itchen Bridge but the man was not located.
One Northam estate resident said the helicopter was hovering above "for ages", adding: "I thought it was going to land on the estate as it was that loud."
