GUESTS have been warmly welcomed to the Greyhound on the Test in Stockbridge for more than 600 years - a tradition the award-winning gastropub aims to continue for many years to come.
The picturesque fishing village plays host to this striking mustard-coloured pub with low beams, elegant décor and a wood-burning stove.
The name of the pub and hotel dates back over 200 years, when in the 1800s greyhounds were used to hunt hares.

The Greyhound, as it is fondly known, was named Michelin pub of the year in 2014 and the Sunday Times pub of the year in 2015 and boasts two AA Rosettes.
Other accolades include 4* AA Accommodation, the AA Breakfast Award 2020-2021 and the Good Food Award, all in 2020-2021.
Visitors to the gastropub have been delighting in its riverside garden throughout a glorious summer.
As you walk through the front door, on the left hand side you are met with a more casual dining experience with low beams, real ales and an array of fine whiskeys.
With the log fire burning in the winter, it's an ideal space for a night cap if you are staying or a mid morning coffee if passing by.
A carefully curated selection of dishes are presented to diners on the menu, featuring some of the very best ingredients and flavour combinations.
Head Chef Phill Bishop is passionate about using the amazing produce surrounding the pub - not to mention the fish from the private stretch of beat on their doorstep.
The current menu features Wood Pigeon & Thyme Wellington, Roasted Torbay Mullet, and White Soy Cured Test Trout to name a few, plus sourdough from Hoxton Bakehouse just a short walk up the High Street.
Desserts come in the form of homemade ice cream and Mango and Coconut Bavarois, Peanut Butter Parfait and Creme Brûlée.
The Greyhound on the Test Hotel is also an alluring retreat, even for those living close by. All around there are country pursuits including shooting, and fishing on the world’s most famous fly-fishing river.
In June, the venue got its wedding license. and is being promoted as the perfect spot for an intimate celebration with family and friends.
