A SOUTHAMPTON man is raising funds to keep a Christmas tradition alive during the cost of living crisis.
Lee Jenkins, from Millbrook, is known locally for his extravagant festive displays.
For the past 15 years, his house on King George's Avenue has been decorated with lights, inflatables and fake snow for neighbours to enjoy.
Last year, the display cost him £9 a night in electricity.
But with bills going up, the 27-year-old is expecting prices to soar.
He said: "Everyone has always loved it and said how nice it is to see.
"In previous years we've had kids from the community play in the front with the snow machine on and it's created some magical moments.
"My nieces and nephews come round and play in the snow and have absolutely loved coming round when it's Christmas.
"The whole community really gets involved with the Christmas lights but this year with electricity costs I don't think many will, which is heartbreaking."

Over the years, the Southampton docks worker has continued to decorate his house despite rising costs.
However, with bills expecting to double from next month, Lee has set up a fundraiser to help pay for the display during the Christmas holidays.
He said: "I know it's a big ask as everyone is struggling with the new high prices but everyone has been supportive.
"The biggest donation so far has been £25 which really blew me away. I really didn't expect people to give anything but it really shows how much people love the display.
"If people can donate I would really appreciate it but if not, then I think what everyone wants is to come along and join another great light display and help spread the good old Christmas spirit."
Any money beyond Lee's £500 target will be donated to local food banks and Southampton Children's Hospital.
