SEVEN voluntary organisations in the New Forest have benefited from more than £23,000 in Hampshire County Council grants.
Organisations for older people and those with physical and learning disabi l ities will benefit from the money.
Hampshire County Councillor Felicity Hindson executive member for adult social care, has awarded the grants.
The New Forest Disability Information Service, which supports 1,240 people with all types of disabilities, has been handed £10,000.
The Dibden Monday Club has received £4,999, the New Milton Stroke Club has been given £1,000, New Forest Mencap has been awarded £4,900, the Rae Stratton Lunch Club has been handed £1,026, the Fordingbridge and District Day Centre has been given £920 and Neighbourcare New Milton has been allocated £870.
