THESE cheeky ladies are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for cancer patients by putting their bottoms up for auction.
The women - who are all running in Southampton's Race for Life this summer - are inviting people to bid for their bums at a charity auction hosted by BBC Homes under the Hammer star Russell Parker.
Winning bidders get to sponsor the ladies with a message of support on their tracksuit bottoms with all the proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.
Organiser Jayne Duke from Hamble said: "I'd done Race for Life a few times before and I wanted to do something different this time."
Jayne, 41, had already raised more than £2,000 for Cancer Research when she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer last April.
Since then she has been inspired to continue her fundraising and even managed to walk the 5km course in the middle of her chemotherapy treatment last year.
Now she is hoping to attract plenty of bidders to her bottom auction and party at Boomerang restaurant and bar in Hamble later this month.
"We have 14 bums so far and three already have reserves - one for £250!" said Jayne.
"Another one of the runners works for Norwich Union which has promised to match any money she raises pound for pound, which is great.
"I am delighted with the response to the event so far. I even have one guy phoning in from Spain on the evening to do a telephone bid!"
In the meantime Jayne is throwing herself into training for Race for Life which takes place on Southampton Common on July 13.
"Whenever I wonder if I've bitten off more than I can chew, I think of the people I know who have lost the fight and it spurs me on.
"A lady who I met through treatment sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago, leaving two very small children. If the money I raise can prevent just one family having to go through the same thing then I will consider it a job well done."
Jayne's Pretty in Pink Party and charity auction is at Boomerang restaurant and bar, Hamble, on April 26.
Tickets cost £35 with £10 going straight to Cancer Research UK. To book, call 07851 160618 To sponsor Jayne's Race for Life visit www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/bub
