A SOUTHAMPTON man used a fake driving licence to get a job with the city council.
Christopher Channell, 52, pleaded guilty at the city crown court to obtaining a pecuniary advantage by deception by falsely claiming he was the holder of a valid licence.
He further admitted using a fake licence with intent to deceive and attempting to pervert the course of justice by getting solicitors to send a letter to the police to confirm his licence was genuine.
Channell, of Yeovil Chase, Southampton, was bailed until May 8.
