POLICE are hunting a sex attacker who indecently assaulted an 18 year-old woman at a bus stop.

In the terrifying incident the man grabbed the woman's arm and then put his other arm around her and indecently assaulted her.

He then got on the bus with the victim.

When the bus arrived at Fareham Bus Station both walked up to West Street separately, where the victim walked right towards the shops and the suspect went left.

The assault happened in Highlands Road, Fareham, on Saturday at about 10.10 am and police have just released the details.

Police are appealing for witnesses who might have been near the bus stop in Highlands Road, opposite the shops.

The suspect is described as Asian, about 50-years-old and 5ft 6ins tall, greying hair, grey bushy beard an wearing a dirty jacket / jumper.

PC Stuart Grover said: "The victim is a confident person and this incident did not distress her too much. However, this was an unpleasant incident for her and we are keen to find the man responsible before he tries the same thing again with someone else."
