THE search to find Southampton's Favourite Book to Share is being launched next week.
Children and their parents or carers can vote on their favourite book from a shortlist that has been drawn up of six books.
This year's shortlist has been selected by library and family learning staff and include a range of titles that will appeal to children under five years old.
The competition will be officially launched at The Mall, Marlands tomorrow from 11am and will include chances to read the books along with other activities.
If you would like to take part you can pick up copies of the books at Southampton city libraries, nurseries, pre-schools and parent and toddler groups. You can vote for your favourite between April and July.
The winner of the award will be announced in September and the award ceremony will take place in October.
